Little people sewing

The children go to a school we adore, and do the sweetest things. Mr A  (3) has recently developed a passion for ‘sewing’ and came home last week with a large pile of these:

This seems like the perfect result of our shared parenting: an interest in geometry (inherited from Mr T), and in crafting (from me). Well done little pixie! He was so proud.

Meanwhile, moving on with her skills, Miss R sewed this with me sitting on the sofa one evening when her little brother was asleep. Bliss to be sharing these moments of happy creativity. If only I had more time…

Now I must go back to my ‘serious’ writing. And anyway, before I can do any serious sewing I have to clear my table which, as Mr T politely pointed out, has a pile on it that reaches to neck height. Ahem: housework, always my forte.  JJ
